The ship itself has been well maintained during its 35+ year lifespan, but the ultimate deciding factor in selecting this vessel should be down to the service and in-depth itinerary.
As a smaller vessel, enjoy access to some ports otherwise inaccessible to larger peers. For cruisers who enjoy the thrills of a casino or nightly shows, this ship may prove a little lacking.
Planning your cruise
Do you have a specific experience in mind? If you're looking forward to enjoying something yourself, chances are that others will be, too! The best way to get the cruise you really want is to book early.
Celestyal asks passengers dress comfortably and with practicality in mind for day trips and excursions. Some items are not permitted in restaurants, such as bathing suits or shorts. However, lunch is available on the pool deck for those who'd care to stay more relaxed during days on board. After 6PM, country club casual is the acceptable dress for restaurants and many of the social spaces of the ship. Don't forget the Gala Night and Captain's Cocktail, alongside Greek Night! You'll want to dress in something a little more formal for the former, whites and blues for the latter. Cocktail dresses and a jacket with tie for the men during formal events.
Any cruise gratuities are included in the cruise fare.
