Earlier indications of flight cancellations across Belgian airline Brussels Airlines has become all encompassing as all flights are now canceled across Brussels for the 13th of February, 2019.
Flights departing North American airspace on the 12th of February for scheduled arrival on the 13th are affected, as are local European regional and outbound flights on the 13th.
While only a few days ago on the 5th cancellation figures were roughly 25%, today the full schedule was been called off.
As Brussels Airlines is a Star Alliance member, this means code-share with Air Canada, United Airlines, and Lufthansa may also be affected.
Passengers scheduled to fly on the affected dates and who purchased their tickets prior to the 5th of February may be able to reschedule without penalty. Specific terms apply, each airline is managing in a slightly different fashion.
Thankfully none of our clients are affected by the disruption.
However, if one of your flights was cancelled you should have received notice from your airline or travel advisor (did you book with a booking site? You might not have been notified!) and can probably manage the disruption from any online booking management portal.
