We're all finding new ways to engage with family and friends during the last couple of weeks, but I'm also keenly interested in what the world of travel might bring - especially during the rest of 2020.
I took the opportunity to catch up with @Gene and to discuss the subject while enjoying a favourite world beer, and to also chat a bit about some beer experiences and where to enjoy it while on vacation.
I really enjoyed this episode with you @Shy Bredewold . Travelling and sampling the local beer go hand in hand. I always seek out the local brew to sample. And beer sampling is even more exciting with the micro breweries explosion.
Likewise, a little tipple didn't hurt mid-week either these days haha!
Yes, we were talking about craft and IPAs, I completely forgot to mention the Funky Buddha Brewery in Oakland Park, just out of Fort Lauderdale. Some great flavours going on there!
@Shy Bredewold I'll have to hit that area up next visit to FLL. I am finding great craft beer breweries almost everywhere I travel. Another city that is infamous for craft breweries is Grand Rapids, Michigan. I spent a long weekend there one night a few years ago. Also there's a spirits distillery within a km of my home that makes Rye Whiskey, Vodka and Gin. Black's Distillery https://blacksdistillery.com
