While our Destinations & Styles category features a number of locations or travel styles with their own subcategory, there might be one of two reasons it's not listed here in the Destinations & Styles category:
1. The topic is so popular it has a whole category to itself
Where a destination or style might have a wealth of content or a breadth of coverage to deliver, we might have moved it to its own category outside of Destinations & Styles.
For example, we love Ireland the the United Kingdom, and have an immense and growing set of content to share.
Or the Galapagos Islands, with their incredible biodiversity and unique options for visiting by cruise ship. This too deserves a larger category to better address the needs of our site visitors.
2. You're the first to write about it
If you can't find the destination or style you're seeking by using the forum's search bar (here's how to use it), there's a chance you're the first person to start a discussion or ask a question about it publicly in the Explorer community.
So, what do I do now?
As suggested in item 2. above, you should use the forum's search bar to find where that elusive subject is hiding in our forum and go there to chat about it.
But if you are the first to share about a destination or travel style, you should stick it in the main category. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Destinations & Styles category, below the subcategories listing up and coming destinations or styles, and add a new post to the comments section there.
When enough content has been shared on a specific topic, you can either let the admins know you think it deserves its own category or wait for the new category to be organized in due course.
