The lengthy history of this park dates back to prehispanic cultures like Chichimecas and Aztecs, who considered it a sacred forest. Nowadays is divided into three sections. The 1st one holds the Castillo de Chapultepec, the Botanic Garden, and the Anthropology Museum. The 2nd, Museum of Natural History and Environmental Culture, Children's Museum, and several tracks for running and biking. At the time of writing, the 3rd section is being renewed.
This is an exciting place to visit, especially for active people and families. You can enjoy different activities, from hikes, and picnics, to visiting one of the many museums exhibiting pre-Hispanic and modern art.
