Open November 2019 as an exclusive private island destination for MSC Cruise passengers. The island's natural side has been a focal point in its rediscovery with MSC. 95 Acres of land over 64 square miles of marine reserve, there have been massive coral transplants below the surface and tens of thousands of plants and shrubs on dry land to enhance the experience for guests.
Look out for Ocean Cay on your MSC itinerary if you'd best enjoy a call to port featuring nothing but relaxation or private island paradise activities.
Planning your trip
As with many cruise line private islands of the Caribbean, many of your on-ship amenities are extended to the island. As one of the newest such island additions, we're really looking forward to sharing more about the experience during the coming months.
When you should go
This is a year-round option when visiting The Bahamas on select sailings with MSC Cruises. You'll find high season stretches from about mid-December through March and with a few little bumps during school summer holidays. September and May feature as low periods.
What else you might need
You'll need to be a guest of MSC Cruises on an itinerary which features the Marine Reserve in order to visit and enjoy Ocean Cay.
