The ship itself has been well maintained during its 35+ year lifespan, but the ultimate deciding factor in selecting this vessel should be down to the service and in-depth itinerary.
As a smaller vessel, enjoy access to some ports otherwise inaccessible to larger peers. For cruisers who enjoy the thrills of a casino or nightly shows, this ship may prove a little lacking.

Dress code
Celestyal asks passengers dress comfortably and with practicality in mind for your day trips and excursions. Some items are not permitted in restaurants, such as bathing suits or shorts. However, lunch is available on the pool deck for those who'd care to stay more relaxed during days on board. After 6pm, country club casual is the accepted dress for restaurants and many social spaces on the ship. There is also a Gala Night and a Captain's Cocktail event, alongside Greek Night! You'll want to dress in something a little more formal for the former, whites and blues for the latter. Celestyal suggests cocktail dresses for the ladies and a jacket with tie for the gentlemen during formal events.
