Scenic Eclipse is heralded as the world's first discovery yacht, it's a truly luxurious and unrivaled small ship experience from a luxury brand with few equals. With some truly impressive expedition itineraries and new takes on classic calls to port, it's hard to tell where the luxury ends and the adventure begins.
You'll enjoy your time with Scenic if you prefer luxurious surroundings and an inclusive, service-oriented onboard experience. But you'll get the most from your trip if you're available to answer the call of adventure. You might look for polar expeditions or astronomical event sailings for the most interesting itineraries.
Planning your cruise
Even if you're not as comfortable with the idea of flying or submerging during your calls to port, you'll get the most of your experience with lectures and culinary events. A series of zodiacs help get you up close and personal with some of the wildlife found only in earth's polar regions.
As mentioned, most of the experience is included in your fare. There are two available upgrades we have to mention, however. The exclusive helicopter and revolutionary submarine carried within the vessel itself! You could be flying over your port of call or diving hundreds of feet below the surface to explore the unseen wilds of the surrounding sea!

Dress code
There are no formal nights on the Eclipse, but you're encouraged to dress in a casual yet elegant fashion. Tie and jacket may not be required but you'll want a collar. Comfortable attire for relaxing on deck, just lean hard toward smart casual. You'll be gifted a parka for certain itineraries, with a specific packing list for extreme weather.
Gratuities
It is an inclusive experience with Scenic, your gratuities are included in the cruise fare. That extends to Scenic's shore excursions as well.
