Disney's been working to build a safe means of enjoying their Orlando parks this summer. Set to reopen this weekend, starting with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on Saturday and (July 11) and EPCOT and Hollywood Studios from Wednesday next week (July 15).
Guests can expect some increased opportunities to wash or at least sanitize their hands, alongside caps on admission figures and other social distancing measures.
What that also meant until today was the restriction of new ticket purchases for the remainder of the 2020 season. Disney took the time to allow annual pass holders and guests of Disney resorts the time to declare their intended dates of visit before reviewing the new schedule of allotted dates and capacity.
From later today (July 9) guests will be able to purchase new tickets for a visit during the 2020 season and then register their intended dates of arrival at a wholly new website set up for that very purpose:
www.StartYourDisneyExperience.com
Note that single day tickets don't appear to be available at this time and that you should check that your dates are available before purchase of a new ticket - then visit the above website for linking your reservation to the scheduled dates. Certain experiences have changed as a result of social distancing and hygiene measures during the 2020 season, you should ask questions about the most relevant experiences you'd like to enjoy during your upcoming visit to make sure you get the most from your trip!
