@Holly B I shouldn't really say it's "my" theory, was actually one of my sisters who fell victim to the effects and the story has just grown from there - which is part of the problem, and the paradox from which there is no escape haha
She first dressed up for Halloween as this cartoon character (I'm showing my age here, I don't know how to address this cat), Hello Kitty and while some people took notice of the great costume, I guess someone at her work gave her some branded Hello Kitty gift items for a Secret Santa or something to that effect...
Fast forward a few months to a year, it seemed that the more people started gifting her these items the more everyone thought that's what she was really into. She really amassed a collection of Hello Kitty collectibles and clothing!
Not sure how many times I mentioned, "we should go to Disney" but it couldn't have been many - then you got me good with this shirt and a few cheeky gift items at a birthday dinner with my grandmother. I'm just happy it didn't snowball like my sister's Hello Kitty crisis 😹
😂 you maybe mentioned once or twice and yes, I got a little carried away..
It was only a matter of time before this hit the internet!
I'm claiming my own "Hello Kitty" theory in my own defence, now I need to trick someone into asking me what the "Hello Kitty" theory is hahaha
