My wife @Holly and I had opportunity to soak in a bit of the thespian and comedic side of Edinburgh back in 2019, which was the last time the event was held due to COVID.
Tickets can be scarce, but the atmosphere is buzzing at Edinburgh's Festival Fringe (photo circa 2019)
This year, Fringe is back, running August 6th to 30th, but I understand it is a little bit smaller than years of recent memory. This makes sense as international travel hasn't quite caught up to the domestic success enjoyed within the UK.
Scotland is a little behind England in returning freedoms to the public, but still doing quite well by comparison to other corners of the globe and even European destinations such as France or Germany. It'll be good to see the festival back to something nearer full-strength in 2022.
