I've been trying to find some quality videos from some of our supplier partners when it comes to snorkeling the Galapagos Islands. There are options for an excursion on several cruise & expedition itineraries, but this video comes to us from our friends at Abercrombie & Kent.
My understanding is that the young sea lions are the ones most likely to share their curiosity!
It was the end of October when we went. We saw some amazing colourful fish and a sea lion. Unfortunately even though we snorkeled off several different islands the water was murky so pictures did not turn out the best.
The deep water snorkeling was amazing but a word of advice - wear a wet suit. For being on the equator, the water is surprisingly cold.
