When Viking River Cruises took their successful formula for river cruising and set sail for success on the open ocean, they took the industry by storm.
Winning countless awards, their fleet is set to be the largest single expansion for an ocean faring leisure cruise business.
Last week they formally named their sixth and newest ship, sticking to a way-faring theme of space exploration, the Viking Venus will join its sister ships in 2021.
It will likely be almost identical to the other vessels in the fleet, including the Viking Sky. A ship I explored late 2017.
Guests on board the Venus can expect roughly 930 passengers and to explore destinations throughout Scandinavia and Northern Europe at first, including highlights of Great Britain!
