El Pub Restaurant

The original restaurant opened in 1966, with a significant renovation to its current form in the 90s. El Pub serves up the great tasting yet simple food for which Cuba is known, but you can also enjoy it in a more traditional Cuban style by ordering at the standing street stall.
One of the most visible examples of Cuban dining on 8th Street, you'll have a great opportunity to try Cuban food and coffees here.
Planning your trip
Even if you don't have time to sit and eat you can enjoy a traditional Cuban coffee experience by ordering from a standing stall right on the street. Ask for a colada or, our favorite, a cortadito to go!
When you should go
El Pub can be quite busy throughout the day. You won't necessarily have to line up for a table, but the process for seating tends to be quicker early in the day.
