A number of ticket options are available, everything from children's themed cruises in the mornings and mid-afternoons, to themed cruising or even straightforward tours by the hour.
Maybe the most fun option would be the pirate-themed cruise, costumes encouraged! Seasonal opportunities to celebrate Thanksgiving and Oktoberfest might be the most appealing for couples and groups of adults.
When you should go
The steamship tours and related activities run June through October, although the later seasonal schedule tends to favour calendar events and celebrations, such as Oktoberfest. The busiest months of the year are July and August.
